What are the rules of The Great Wall?
Teams earn one unit of wall height for each point scored, and may spend 20 points to attack a rival wall for 20 units of damage. A wall becomes immune once every member of that team has finished, and the tallest wall still standing at the end wins.
- 1 point earned = 1 unit of wall height
- Spend 20 points to attack a rival wall for 20 units of damage
- Walls become immune once every team member finishes
- Winner: tallest wall standing at the end
What learning sits behind the game?
Attacking and building are both funded by mastery, because the only way to earn points is to answer challenges correctly. Strategy decisions therefore reward teams that understand the material, and no amount of tactical play compensates for weak answers.
